The two files within the zip file are "resource.deu" and "deu"


"Resource.deu" must be placed at the root level of the RIP installation (Xitron/Navigator 10.1r2 for example). 

"Deu" must be placed into  /<RIP>/messages/xitron,  (C://Navigator 10.1r2/messages/xitron, for example).


You may need to work with your sales representative or support contact if you have trouble enabling this via LDK licensing.



Installing the Version 14 DEU files:
1. Download 14.0r2 DEU Translation.zip below and extract the contents
2. Close the RIP
3. Open the folder "PutIntoRIPFolder" the you extracted from the 14.0r2 DEU Translation.zip and copy all of the contents. Do not copy the "PutIntoRIPFolder" folder 
4. Paste them into the RIP's Folder. Usually found at c:\Navigator\Navigator 14.0. This will place all of the translation files into the correct folders. 
5. You may get a message asking to replace files with the same name. Click the option "Replace the files in the destination."
6. Start the RIP.

You should now see the German translations in the RIP.
