Xitron released its newest version of the Navigator GPS/Elite workflow with support for the 64-bit Mac operating system clients.  When developing the upgrade, we needed to adopt a new, more robust viewer to enable the connectivity with the new MAC OS.  This new viewer requires a faster HDD and more RAM than the older versions of the Navigator software.  This document directs how to find the current version of OS, the amount of RAM installed, and the type of hard drive installed on an existing computer.

 


  • From the Search window, type SYSTEM and select the System Information app.



  • You will want to verify the processor and the amount of RAM.




  • Type DFRGUI in the search field or run box.

           





  • This will bring up the Optimize Drives window. From this window, you can clearly see the installed drives and what type they are.
