How to Update an LDK License version
This guide walks you through updating a permanent LDK license version using the LDK Tool.
Step 1: Launch the LDK Tool
Open the LDK Tool from your desktop or Start Menu.
Click "Update License" to begin.
Step 2: Choose the Target Computer
If the permanent v11 LDK key is installed on this machine, choose:
"Update for this computer."
Step 3: Confirm Internet Access
If the system you're using has access to the internet, select:
"Have internet access."
Step 4: Select the Correct Key ID
Use the dropdown to select the appropriate Key ID.
Even if only one appears, double-check to ensure it matches the correct device.
Step 5: Enter the Product Key
In the "Product Key" field, paste the upgrade code you were provided.
Step 6: Activate the License
Click "Activate" to apply the license update.
Step 7: Confirmation
If everything is entered correctly, you’ll see a confirmation screen indicating success, along with the newly created Key ID.
Click "OK."
Your license is now updated. You may proceed with using the updated software.
