Overview

This article explains how to install the updated Spanish translation files for the K2 Server and K2 Client.

Before beginning, make sure you have access to the following download:
UpdatedK2_ESN_resources

This package contains the files required to update the Spanish translations used by K2.

Download and Extract the Files

1. Click the UpdatedK2_ESN_resources link above to download the translation package.

2. Once the download is complete, locate the following file on your PC:

   UpdatedK2_ESN_resources.7z

3. Extract the .7z archive using 7-Zip or another compatible compression application.

Important: We do not recommend using the built-in Windows compression utility to extract this package.

Installation

Important: Make sure the K2 Server and K2 Client are completely closed before replacing or copying any files.

Step 1: Install the K2 Server Translation File

Copy the following file:

K2ServerESN.dll

Place it in the K2 Server directory:

C:\K2\K2

If prompted to replace an existing file, confirm the replacement.

Step 2: Install the Action Resource Files

Open the extracted:

Actions\Resources

folder and copy all of its contents.

Place the files in:

C:\K2\K2\Actions\Resources

If prompted to replace existing files, confirm the replacements.

Step 3: Install the K2 Client Translation File

Open the extracted:

Client folder and copy:

K2ClientESN.dll

Place the file in:

C:\K2\K2\Client

If prompted to replace an existing file, confirm the replacement.

Complete the Installation

After all files have been copied to their correct locations, restart the K2 Server and K2 Client.

The updated Spanish translations will take effect after the applications are restarted.

File Location Summary

The updated Spanish translation files are now installed.
